The Basics of Garment Alteration Workshop is a 1 day lesson. Please contact us for more information and/or to schedule. This 2 hour hands-on alterations class is designed for adults who want to learn the art of tailoring and adjusting garments for a perfect fit. Whether you're a beginner or have some sewing experience, this course will guide you through essential techniques to alter various types of clothing. By the end of the course, you'll be equipped with the skills to make alterations to wardrobe. Course Objectives - Learn fundamental alteration techniques, including hemming, taking in or letting out seams, adjusting waistlines, and more. - Understand how to work with different fabrics and garment styles. - Gain confidence in using sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques for alterations. - Develop an eye for fit and learn how to make adjustments to enhance garment appearance and comfort. Dezign with me is a monthly sew-along 2 hour class. Please contact us for more information and/or to schedule. Please note, attendees need to register at least 3 days in advance of event.
