Description
Please note, 1 makeup class is offered per session, if needed. However, a 24 hour or more notice has to be provided and confirmed. No shows or last minute notifications will not be eligible for makeup class or refund. Students need to be registered at least 3 days in advance of session start.
House of Dezign inspires and teaches adults how to sew as well as fashion etiquette. Adults will learn how to sew step by step to make it easy to learn while having fun. The class will include instruction on a variety of items.
BASICS OF SEWING – ADULTS
Many necessary supplies are included; however, students needing additional fabric and accessories must pay separately for their costs.
Projects vary weekly. Students may take as many sessions as they would like.
We combine individualized and class instruction to ensure students get the attention they need to make successful fashions.
Our Basics of Sewing – Adults class offers individualized and class instruction for fundamental skills to:
- Use a sewing machine and learn basic hand stitching
- Sew basic seams and finishes
- Understand fabric anatomy, including fabric grain and its suitability
for fashion designs

CLASS COST = $550 PER 6 WEEK SESSION
