At what age should you start sewing?
On average under training 6 years old can start sewing, without formal training an 8-year-old can try hands on it, but you must first know that it depends on the person’s interest. People have stories of being able to start sewing finely at a very young age, but some even after attending best fashion classes for teens, couldn’t do it well enough even up till a very mature age. If you love it, if it interests you but you hesitate because you may be too young for a teen fashion school, join the adult sewing classes now. If your kid does not show much interest, don’t push it on him/her.
What is the easiest thing to sew for beginners?
Beginners are suggested to practice on straight lines and easy-to-understand projects, such as small sleep masks, zipper or no zipper cases, etc. Some of the popular teens sewing classes initially work on the projects like scrunchies, makeup remover wipes, corner bookmarks, and simple fruit pattern cushions. You must start with small projects, with different styles, once you pass that level, you can try making your cute pajamas for a beginning project.
