House of Dezign inspires and teaches children how to sew as well as fashion etiquette. The young designers will learn how to sew step by step to make it easy to learn while having fun. The class will include instruction on pillows, dolls, how to sew buttons and more.
BASICS OF SEWING
Many necessary supplies are included; however, students needing additional fabric and accessories must pay separately for their costs.
Projects may vary weekly.
Your child may take as few or as many week-long classes as she or he would like.
We combine individualized and class instruction to ensure students get the attention they need to make successful fashions.
Learn To Sew - Basic Sewing Course For Your Kids
Kids will progress from being completely brand-new to sewing, to making their very own projects independently! The basic sewing course starts at the absolute basics of your machine right out of the box. You do not need any prior knowledge of sewing at all.
How To Teach Kids To Sew - Basic Sewing Lessons
Get ready to teach your kids to sew with ease for the very first time. Our basic sewing lessons contans projects and activities that help children 6-12 years old and up (the age is just a beginning guideline) learn some basic skills, such as hand sewing. These “how to teach kids to sew” projects will start by using a needle and thread and learning how to tie a knot in the thread. Learning to sew by hand requires a lot of practice. This will also help them prepare for doing sewing projects on the sewing machine.
